Ever since I lost my tumblr, I've sat around thinking about where to take my art besides always posting it here. Eventually, I decided to bite the bullet and jump to Newgrounds and Twitter as well! I'm even going by a new name, which I'll change on this webpage...eventually. So yeah, today is my birthday and I've been so busy with work that I haven't had time to mention it! This year is really special because for the first time in a long time, I don't feel so full of fear. I feel ready to take whatever steps I have to make the most of out of this year. I have projects to complete and goals to achieve, but I feel like I can take them on now. ...probably because I have :curlytopearl: for a girlfriend now. I wonder if I should do one of those cheesy group icons with her now. Eh, I'll worry about it later. I hope everyone's having a good day and that you're enjoying this year as much as I am!

Well, I usually don’t make journal entries, but I feel like after everything that’s happened, a more detailed explanation is required. Long story short, Hurricane Matthew hit my neck of the woods and hit it hard. Keeping the family’s spirits up during the power outages and flooding really took it out of me. I really wanted to celebrate Halloween with a bunch of pictures, but now I don’t feel like it. Thankfully, everyone’s alright and everything’s back to normal, so don’t worry about that. Still, I’m finding myself putting more work into my job-hunting than drawing. I mean, I still want to draw

It may not look like much to you guys, but I am extremely proud of myself for getting that comic done. I finally found a way to make comics that has great quality on each page. I don't know if I'm good enough to make a comic series like a nuzlocke again, but for right now, I'll keep at it and trying to get better at making these. Also, it's apparently Star Wars Day so here's a random piece of trivia: The line "There is another" was actually going to hint at a Skywalker BESIDES Leia. There may actually still be one out there because we've all kinda agreed to ignore the prequels.

You may have noticed that I haven't been posting as much as I usually do, not even drawing a Halloween pic or updating my nuzlocke. The reason for it is simple: I have horrible luck around Halloween. And this year's bad luck ended with me losing my laptop and everything on it. It's caught a bad virus and I'll probably have to get a new one during Black Friday. I may be able to still get some art out, but it'll be slowed down mostly. Also this puts most of my art plans in a grey area since most of my plans were written down. I'm not sure if I'm gonna continue with them or not. I'll try and figure it out during this month.
